Welcome!  Thanks for visiting!  I hope all of you had an enjoyable summer and you are looking forward  to starting your most exciting 8th grade year at Stemmers Run Middle.

This is my 18th year of teaching and my fourth at Stemmers. My experience here has been

 wonderful! I am very happy to be part of this dedicated, supportive group of educators enjoying the privileges and the challenges of working with a diverse population of students on the threshold of young adulthood. It's a thrilling time when there are so many exciting possibilities to pursue and important decisions to be made. It's my hope that we can share the best of what we have to offer each other-traits we all have in common with the brightest scientists-

• respect for ourselves and others,
• curiousity about the world around us, 
• the willingness to think,
• try,
• make mistakes,
• and try again.
